Store manager Eddy needs a new job away from people. I purchased a large order through Klarna and was previously able to return some of those items to their aerie location. well, that location is now being renovated in my mall so I went to American Eagle to return a few more additional items. I do not have any type of debit or credit card on Klarna and only have my personal debit card attached which is what was used to pay for the items. when previously returned, they put that money back on my debit card and I used That money to pay back my klarna balance. Today, Eddy told me that I had to have a card with Klarna in order to get my money back but to do that I have to apply for it and have my credit ran, which I am not OK with. I decided to call customer service to ask about just shipping me a label for return and at that point she confirmed with me that their policy is to return the money back to the original form of payment, whatever that is, either the Klarna card or your debit card. And if it is your debit card, then you just use that money to pay off the Klarna balance. I even had the customer service rep tell the store manager Eddy this yet he refused to listen to her before finally saying, she's "just" a customer service rep. he was clearly embarrassed about how wrong he was and continued to refuse to help me so now I have to return my items by mail which is an inconvenience to me.
