  went today for pink sticker shopping and on boys section it was labeled as $3 on pink stickers but as i went to checkout the manager took pink tag off from one of ninja turtles jacket i got and it had pink sticker on it and told me i will only sell on full price. i asked if you can still honor it since it was at cleanece and had pink sticker on . so rude staff and seems like racism to me . i will never go back be careful

  I've had multiple haircuts at this location and had the worst experience weeks ago. However recently we had another bad experience recently. We usually book with a girl named London and she is phenomenal! She listens to what we like and gives us the best haircuts. However, when we don't book an appointment and end up getting someone else to cut our hair it's always end up a disaster. One stylist only asked what I wanted once and didn't talk to me for the rest of my appointment and gave me something I did not ask for. She even dropped her sheers- multiple times- and didn't clean them before using them on my hair again. She also used product on my hair without asking and used so much of it my hair felt and looked disgusting and greasy for a week. This more recent time, my mom got a haircut by someone else and she had to argue with a stylist about the type of haircut she wanted and even after telling the stylist she wanted it shorter the stylist did not comply and even ended up picking my mother ears and ripped off a skin tag on her neck. She also used product on my mother's hair without consent and styled my mom's hair without asking if it was okay, making her haircut more expensive. None of this is on London. We love London and will continue to come back only when she's available in the future.

  I attempted to return a pair of pants to JCPenney with the original receipt after purchasing them via tap to pay. The cashier refused the return because I did not have the physical card present and would not offer any alternative solution besides store credit. What frustrated me most was not the system limitation itself, but how the situation was handled. The cashier was dismissive from the start, did not acknowledge the inconvenience, and argued with me when I asked to escalate the issue, insisting that a manager “wouldn’t be able to do anything either.” When I clarified that I was not trying to be rude, she argued that I actually was being rude. I responded that the comment was unnecessary. When I asked for her name, she refused to provide it despite other employees visibly wearing name tags. When the manager arrived, the interaction did not improve. The cashier continued focusing on arguing that I was rude rather than resolving the issue, and the manager made little effort to de escalate the situation or offer any meaningful solution besides store credit, which I declined because I rarely shop at JCPenney. When I said I would likely need to dispute the charge with my credit card company, the manager essentially agreed that was my only option. I ultimately left the item at the store. I have worked in customer service myself, and I understand employees deal with frustrated customers every day. But acknowledging frustration, remaining professional, and attempting to find solutions are basic parts of customer service, especially when the customer is not yelling, cursing, or being disrespectful. Both employees could benefit from additional training on handling customer complaints professionally.
