- JLJulis LorenzoJun 11, 20261.0Worse checkout EVER , it’s always the same lady’s at checkout all they do is chit chat talk bad about employees & customers. When they call the manager for help they take FOREVER & come with a bitchy attitude. I rather drive 2 hours to SA get better service. I don’t know how this store still in service with same old employees & managers. I will most definitely take this to corporate for poor service.

However, the store’s AC has been out for about 4 days now, and this is already the third or fourth time it has broken down. It’s frustrating to shop in such a hot environment, especially during warm weather. I hope management can get the issue fixed soon for the comfort of both customers and employees.
- MMMMay 4, 20261.0Worst customer service. The cashiers only help the ones they want to. Manager helped her friends who cut line in front of the lady in front of me. Jewelry department ladies are rude and ignored the lady in front who waited for more than half an hour to pay for one item. Very unprofessional, rude customer service.

When I went to check out in the jewelry department, Patty refused to assist me and sent me across the store to the men’s department, claiming she couldn’t check me out there—which I know is not accurate. When I got to the men’s department, the situation only got worse. Both employees at the register walked away at the same time, leaving the area unattended. Not one, but both employees chose to step away while customers were waiting. Customer service like this is unacceptable. JCPenney is already struggling as a retailer, and experiences like this only push customers away. There needs to be better training, accountability, and basic customer courtesy.
