  I really was disappointed to go to this store and find only one register open and no people on the floor. I had to wait in line to ask some questions about some shoes, only to be disappointed because the cashier told me that the size and colors I wanted were not available, but that I could order and get them sent to my home. The items were never sent to my home or was I even notified that they had arrived at the store instead. I had to call customer service as no one ever answered at the store. I was told that my shoes had been sent to the store instead and had been received there two days prior to my call. I was never told that they were there. Customer service offered to cancel my order and let me reorder at same price. But was quick to tell me that the color black I wanted, was no longer in stock. So I told her that I would drive 2 hours the next day to get the shoes I wanted from the store. Making a long trip the next day, only to find out that my order was canceled by the customer service and that my sandals had been put on the floor. They let me know that I could buy the shoes again at the same price. I was thrilled, purchased them and left. Only to find out days later, as I had not inspected the sandals, that one of them was damaged. And the other looked like they had been tried on with dirt on the bottom. After spending time on the phone with customer service, they told me they could not help me. As the second purchase was done at the store so they transferred me to the store and of course no one answered. So I sent a online request for help in getting them returned n via mail. No response. This time made a decision to return them at a different JCPenny in San Antonio as I was heading that way later in the week. So 3 trips for a pair of sandals I never got to use and lost my new open account credit. Very frustrated and disappointed 😞.

  Great store am a big and tall person and they have a nice selection for me and have name brands in my size from Nike to puma al also others to pluse close for my kids and wife

  Worse checkout EVER , it’s always the same lady’s at checkout all they do is chit chat talk bad about employees & customers. When they call the manager for help they take FOREVER & come with a bitchy attitude. I rather drive 2 hours to SA get better service. I don’t know how this store still in service with same old employees & managers. I will most definitely take this to corporate for poor service.

  The service was good and I was able to find everything I needed. However, the store’s AC has been out for about 4 days now, and this is already the third or fourth time it has broken down. It’s frustrating to shop in such a hot environment, especially during warm weather. I hope management can get the issue fixed soon for the comfort of both customers and employees.

  Worst customer service. The cashiers only help the ones they want to. Manager helped her friends who cut line in front of the lady in front of me. Jewelry department ladies are rude and ignored the lady in front who waited for more than half an hour to pay for one item. Very unprofessional, rude customer service.
