The front desk directed us to one line, only for an employee there to say, “I’m not sure why they keep sending people over here. Orders are placed in the original line.” After wasting an hour, we left without placing an order. The next day I ordered online and waited almost two weeks with no update. After calling again today, I was finally advised the skirts were not just on backorder but on backorder for four to six weeks. This was after three interactions where employees had opportunities to share this information. The staff was rude over the phone, and some employees were condescending in the store and they move very slow. Order processing is slow, communication is poor, and the fabric feels cheap compared to Lands’ End. Customers should receive clear information about backorders and processing times before ordering. If I knew this vendor needed 2 months to process an order I would have placed it in May.
