  I had every intention of purchasing my first David Yurman bracelet at this location today, but the customer service I received was off-putting and dismissive. While inspecting the jewelry, I was never offered a seat, and when it came to the sizing of the bracelet, I was not given the option to exchange it for a different size immediately. Overall, I did not feel welcomed or valued as a potential customer. I came into this establishment with the expectation of receiving the level of service associated with a luxury jewelry brand, particularly at NorthPark Center. Unfortunately, my experience fell far short of that expectation. As a Black shopper, I have heard other Black customers describe experiences in which they felt unwelcome or treated differently while shopping at NorthPark. After my experience at David Yurman, I finally understand what they mean. It is disappointing to walk into a store excited to make your first purchase, only to leave feeling uncomfortable and questioning whether you are the clientele they want to serve. Luxury is not just about the jewelry or the price tag. It is also about how customers are treated. Based on my experience today, I will not shop this location.

  Great customer service and Chris was especially helpful. He made sure that we were comfortable and acquainted with the correct size and products we were inquiring about.

  I was so fortunate to be able to work with Ivan today. He helped me with a purchase of an item that is low in inventory. I’ve spent two weeks trying tk secure this item. I won’t get into details but I have had bad experiences with other brand ambassadors recently and was honestly considering leaving DY as a customer. Ivan changed my mind by really helping me secure the item and going above and beyond to help me get the item I wanted and offering to see the whole transaction through until it was delivered to me; not just ignoring me after the sale was made. This is the level of customer service I expected. Not only did he help me with the sale, but he offered to be my permanent brand ambassador even though his job is Operations Manager. I’m really grateful.

  Sunita was absolutely wonderful! I originally planned to purchase just one item, but she provided such amazing service that I ended up buying more. She was incredibly kind, attentive, patient, and made the whole shopping experience so enjoyable. If you’re shopping here, I highly recommend asking for Sunita — she will take great care of you! 💕 The next time I’m back in Dallas, I’ll definitely come back and shop with her again. Thank you, Sunita, for such a lovely experience!
