Girls in the pink and brown shirts working at the front were very kind and attentive when I needed help finding certain clothing items. The store was also clean, organized, and easy to shop around in. I always feel like I can find something cute and unique every time I come in. I’ll definitely be back!

VERY, VERY, VERY DISAPPOINTED with my experience here, and I absolutely felt that there was racial bias involved. We brought in FOUR bags of gently used clothing. While we were waiting, I listened as several white customers were offered over $50 for their items. Yet, coincidentally, we were the only Black customers there with four bags of clothes, and only TWO of our items were accepted for a total of $15. When we asked why certain items weren’t accepted, we were told that one set had “a little wear on the arms.” Okay… but your own website says you accept gently used clothing with some wear. We were also told they don’t take skinny jeans because they aren’t currently in style. Fine we only brought maybe two pairs of skinny jeans. So what was wrong with ALL the other jeans and clothing we brought? We were given no real explanation. Just no. What made it even more frustrating was walking around the store afterward and seeing multiple items for sale with visible STAINS and obvious wear. So apparently those items met the store’s standards, but nearly four bags of our clothing didn’t? It honestly felt like if you don’t have a certain “white girl” style, your clothes aren’t considered good enough for this location. Black people thrift too, and our styles shouldn’t automatically be dismissed because they may not match the personal style of the employees sorting the clothes. Please consider hiring a more diverse staff and training employees to evaluate clothing based on condition, current trends, and what different customers may actually buy not simply whether the person sorting the clothes would personally wear it. After this experience, WE WILL NEVER, EVER COME BACK TO THIS LOCATION.

I had such a great experience at Plato’s Closet Cypress! Carson, Gracyn, and Gia were absolutely amazing and made my visit such a positive experience. They were all incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful from the moment I walked in. You can tell they genuinely care about making customers feel comfortable and making sure they have a good experience. It’s always nice to walk into a store where the employees are kind, approachable, and actually seem happy to be there. They represented Plato’s Closet Cypress so well, and their positive attitudes made a huge difference. I’ll definitely be coming back and would highly recommend this location to anyone looking for a great shopping experience!

You shouldn't have employees making fun of how big people's clothes are. If you're not interested fine, but be respectful. My wife was trying to sell clothes that were basically brand new. Only to have your employees talking about how the clothes were the size of blankets. Not that it matters to you, but she was getting rid of clothes because she has lost 90 lbs. Terrible place.
