  I came in this store today at 10 am when it opened. There were a bunch of people waiting at the front door. When I was walking towards the clothes section I noticed a young thin hispanic employee following me. I started looking through the clearance rack and this employee kept staring at me pretending to fold and refold clothes. I ignored it and kept looking for a blouse. Everytime I looked out of my peripheral she was staring at me and when I made eye contact she would look down quickly. I am not a theif. I am a catholic and an Iraq veteran. I do not steal. I have never felt so embarrassed and uncomfortable in my entire life. Why did she target me? Because I was in the plus size clearance section? Did she assume I was poor and couldn't afford a $12 blouse? There were like 10 other women who bum rushed inside. All I was doing was looking for a blouse for mass. I will never come here ever again. I have been a loyal customer for 20 years and have spent tons of money here and on the JCPenny website. My day was ruined after that. I already deal with PTSD and depression and just coming to a clothes store was an event for me.

  I had a wonderful experience! My photographer Rain was very nice and made me feel comfortable. Plus she took so many amazing photographs it was hard to choose from all of them. Thanks again Rain for all your help.

  Luz in the Conroe JCP Salon worked her magic and did an amazing job on my hair today! Color, Cut, and style! She is the best!

  Had not been to a JCP for quite a while. How refreshing to have real humans behind counters and walking the floors to ask if you need help. The jewelry counter was a great experience, and the drapery department was outstanding. Huge selection - well displayed to see and feel. Prices VERY reasonable. IMPRESSIVE all around.

  My wife and I just made an online purchase for a couple of lab grown diamond earring sets. They are spectacular and highly recommended. Unfortunately, I made a purchase on the second set without entering the discount code, which would’ve resulted in a 60% savings. Online customer service was zero help. Not able to give us a partial refund, they told us that we had to take the set back to the store for a full refund and then do another online purchase with the code. The only problem was that set was the last one available at this JCPenney for pick up. What a mess. So, into the store we went. We walked up to the jewelry counter and met Becky, the manager who actually had been standing right there. She was absolutely fantastic and made quick work of getting us the price adjustment when we provided her with the code. She was friendly and accommodating, and it turned a questioning experience into a great one. Really appreciated that. Thanks Becky!
