  my friends and i visited the new aerie and unfortunately our experience was very disappointing. instead of being greeted and welcomed into the store, we were met with rude stares and received no assistance from the staff. one of the staff members literally looked up from folding some items and stared at us- no greeting or even a smile. it was a very uncomfortable shopping experience, as we felt unwelcome the second we walked in. i understand everyone has off days and i myself have worked in retail, however customer service plays a huge role in how customers perceive a business and we left feeling disappointed and uncomfortable from the stares. as we were leaving we were told to have a nice day and that was it.
