For years, Southern Gem has been designing pieces for other jewelry stores. In 2019, we decided to launch our own store and bring new designs direct to you. Born in Texas, our designs are for our southern family. We design each unique piece by hand.

Having lost my husband four years ago, this was a very emotional situation for me and every staff member I encountered, including the shop owner herself, were so very kind and understanding about how difficult it was for me to even remove this ring, let alone allow it out of my sight. The work done was superb, and was done within the time frame that was quoted to me. I will forever be grateful for this encounter.

My original engagement ring was stolen, and we just celebrated our 10 year wedding anniversary so it was the perfect time to make this happen! I went in and Gayla and her team took my dream ring and made it to a reality. We did a complete custom piece so I was able to incorporate the new ring with my original wedding band. To say the ring is perfection would be an understatement! I’m beyond grateful to Southern Gem for making this happen for me!
