  As a boyfriend here to shop with a girlfrend… The chairs looked good and felt sturdy. The wood frame was solid, the arms were useful, and the cane seat was more comfortable than it looked. The seat had a controlled amount of give because there seemed to be a thin support layer under the cane, so it did not feel like sitting directly on wicker. It was firm, but comfortable enough for a normal shopping wait. The back was the weaker part. The cane back looked nice, but when leaning into it, most of the support came from the wood frame. That made it a little rough after a while. The placement helped. The chairs were by the street-side window, which gave good light and a strong phone connection. There was also enough room nearby for shopping bags without the setup feeling cramped. Overall, a good chair: sturdy, good-looking, better seat comfort than expected, and well placed. The back could use more give.
