I am a dad, and I only go to a store with a plan by making sure they have the item I was looking for so as not to waste time on the road with my toddler. Cold customer service.

Sure, fine (assuming that’s the same thing as a refund). Nope. 1) she didn’t end up cancelling my order and 2) I didn’t get a refund. I never received an email (as I was assured I would) confirming the “cancellation” and there’s no proof I returned the items. Shady business and inexperienced staff. When I called after leaving the store with a concern that the transaction processed on my card and wasn’t just pending, they told me to just contact customer service, which is where I realized the headache they had caused. DON’T BOTHER PICKING UP ONLINE ORDERS FROM THIS STORE OR TRYING TO RETURN ANYTHING.

I had just been in a store next door and had to walk up to the salesperson to get her attention away from her cell phone. But in J Crew I was immediately greeted but a friendly young woman who asked if she could help me and engaged in a little friendly conversation. I told her I was just looking so she directed my attention to a few new items and then allowed me to wander around. She checked back in with me to point out the soft cashmere sweaters. Great service!
