  Ordered a pair of dr. Marten shoes size 9 for pickup [$89.97]. They gave me 2 left size 7s. When I returned they had me wait forever to tell me they didn't have the shoes, but I could exchange them for the more expensive version if I paid the difference, which also conveniently made them not qualify for the tax free weekend credit. Quite the bait and switch. Terrible service.

  I have to give a HUGE thanks you to both Shoori & Shazia at the Allen location. I had been in the evening before and lost an earring, (It was a gift from my kids) and when I came back the next day they had located it and set it aside. I am so grateful that they were kind and didn't dismiss the obviously inexpensive earring and just toss it away with the rubbish. Thank you! You exemplify customer service and caring for customers as people.

  I recently purchased the AllSaints maxi dress from the Allen Nordstrom Rack location. A week later, I received an NR alert stating that the price of the dress had been reduced (I'm assuming because I marked it as a favorite in my profile). I went to the store and explained that I still wanted the dress, but it was now $36 less. The associate explained that they don't price match. Okay, no worries—I decided to return it. He then told me I couldn't repurchase it until it was placed back on the sales floor, and since it was the last one, I'd have to wait. The manager (I didn't get her name—a short woman with dark hair) came over and doubled down, stating that I could not repurchase the item for 24 hours. WOW!!! I decided to walk around the store while sharing the experience with a girlfriend. She jumped online and discovered that the dress had been marked down even further. Now my $100 dress was only $49.99! The bad news is I didn't get to take the dress on vacation, but the good news is it was waiting for me when I returned. 😉 I guess I should thank her for saving me $50 instead of the $36 I originally came in to save! Oh, and before writing this review, I looked up the store's policy. If I'm reading it correctly, she could have matched the price.
