  I came here to exchange rods and get line transfered to another reel and Raymond at fishing was extremely helpful. He was very patient and helped answer all my questions as well as work on my rod. Thanks for your help it may the experience great.

  Went on a sunday afternoon, the store is as always great to shop and deals on everything, my main purpose was to go buy a hand gun, it was not busy at the back counter, put my name on the list to wait in line, provided my cell number to receive a text to get assistance, waited 35 minutes and no one called nor did I receive a text, keep in mind I was standing there at the counter just looking at the items I wanted to purchase someone could have asked if i needed help, others were being helped but I didn't think anything of it because I thought they also went through a waiting process or had an appointment, not even sure if you need one! I wasted my time and just left as I had other things to do later on in the day, I live 30 minutes away but on the 75 we all know its more time with traffic conditions. The funny thing is I never got any notification, I guess it was not my day today. Great job salesman, you could have done better. I will try my luck another day..

  The 2 gentlemen working in the fishing section are amazing. I had a rod and reel picked out with advice from the workers and lined up. Because I had my son with me and the service was so good, I ended up buying 2 rods, reels and line installed instead. I thanked them and all they wanted was for us to return and show some “fish picks”. It’s so hard to find places with genuine, nice people. Thank you.

  Mr Taggart in the Archery Dept truly goes above and beyond for his customers. My Grandson went to the Cabela’s in Allen to buy his first compound bow. Mr Taggart set up his bow, showed him all the components and features, showed him basic maintenance practices and gave him great advice. He put tips on the arrows, made solid recommendations on the different accessories, and had him take a lot of shots on the target range. Taggart took a lot of time advising him on the best stance and form, and no doubt instilled in him the confidence he needs to really learn how to use this equipment effectively. Thank you Mr Taggart!! You are an asset to Cabelas!!
