Disgusting behavior from staff. All of the management here is rude and unprofessional.
I don’t shop here often but, I went in this past weekend and what I witnessed was just beyond me. An employee I believe was named Bree was extremely rude and unpleasant to speak to and not just to me but, to other staff. She made some very heinous comment after a different employee asked her a question. Turns out she’s a manager! She rolls her eyes and talks down to these teenagers and bad mouths them at her big age.
The Aerie side is no better. Ashley was just as rude and looked at me like I shouldn’t be shopping there. Like this isn’t high end clothing… don’t look at me like this is some sort of luxury clothing that I can’t afford. The employees here seem sad and are unhelpful, and it’s because of leadership like this. I’d rather be trampled at Stonebriar than ever go back to shopping at the Outlets. Don’t shop here! Not worth it!

7/30/26, 7 pm: The staff's behavior completely turned us off. Foul language, complaining about customers, talking trash about other employees on the floor and in the dressing rooms. They weren't even trying to be discreet. I wouldn't bring small children into that store unless you want them learning new curse words. One of the girls dropped multiple f bombs in a span of 1 minute. None of them were wearing name tags, so I couldn't get their names.
One of the staff members sprayed perfume all throughout the dressing room because she loudly expressed, for all to hear, that one of the customers stank. She said on long days she would spray it directly in their face, so they would get the hint and wear deodorant. Three employees were working in the fitting room taking turns complaining about how stupid people can't find the fitting room, and lazy people can't clean up after themselves, and inconsiderate people leave too many clothes for them to clean up. They then complained about how customers would fold the clothes for them and leave them in the changing room.
I felt bullied by association; we put away all of our own clothes, checked out, and left. There was no lingering. I tried to ask for a manager to communicate this in person, but the cashier announced it over the staff radio that a customer had a complaint. I saw every staff head turn, so we just left.
With the amount of staff who were behaving this way, it's a training and management issue. American Eagle needs to look into how this location is being managed. In case management is reading this, the ladies in question were sweeping the fitting room and restocking denim in the front of the store; the fitting room attendant was a little inappropriate, but not to the level of her coworkers. She probably just need a reminder that customers can hear her and to put her most professional foot forward.

I ordered online and I went in store to exchange and the lady with the blonde hair today was extremely rude. I went to go get the correct size I needed and when I was checking out, she slammed all of my clothing in the bag rudely so unprofessional. I don’t understand. She’s having a bad day, but she needs to be more professional. This was on the Aerie side.

We recently visited American Eagle and Aerie while my wife was looking for a new pair of jeans, and overall it was a very good shopping experience.
The store was clean, well-organized, and easy to browse, with a wide selection of denim styles and sizes available. My wife especially appreciated the variety of fits and washes, which made it easier to compare options and find what she was looking for. The fitting rooms were available and fairly efficient, and she was able to try on multiple pairs without much hassle.
The staff was friendly and helpful when needed, checking in without being pushy and offering assistance with sizing and style suggestions. The overall atmosphere felt relaxed and modern, which made the shopping experience comfortable.
The jeans themselves were good quality and stylish, with several flattering options. Pricing is a bit on the higher side compared to some other retailers, but the fit and feel generally justify it. Aerie also had a nice selection of comfortable and well-made casual wear, which added to the overall visit.
The only drawbacks were that a few popular sizes were out of stock and the store was fairly busy, which meant a little waiting time in the fitting room area.
Overall, it was a solid experience, and we would definitely return for future clothing shopping, especially for denim and casual wear.
