About

Thrift Store
The vision of our 501(c3) nonprofit organization is that ALL people have the opportunity to reach their fullest potential through the power of work.Goodwill of Middle Tennessee is based in Nashville, TN, and serves 48 counties throughout Middle and West Tennessee. Although affiliated with Goodwill Industries International in Rockville, Md., we operate independently through our own governing board of directors. Goodwill accepts gently-used items that donors no longer want, need or use. Those items are sold, and the revenue helps fund job training services and programs provided by Goodwill Career Solutions. In addition to retail sales, Goodwill depends on several other revenue sources, including state and local grants.

First time there, found a pretty cool piece. It was clean. Alot of the clothes were mixed by sized unfortunately 🫤 but I would stop by again.

I used to love donating and shopping at Goodwill, but not anymore. The prices have gotten ridiculous. These are donated items, yet I saw used jeans priced at $45 and up. At that point, I might as well buy them new. The selection isn't what it used to be either, and I can't help but wonder if it's because more people are choosing to donate elsewhere instead of supporting these prices. I'd rather give my clothes directly to someone in need or offer them for free on Facebook than donate them to be marked up this much. Goodwill, do better. You're supposed to help the community, not price people out.
