  This store had a great selection and many different accessories. I was shopping for an event and the staff was so kind helping me narrow down what outfit I should get.

  Just listened to the girls going through my clothes say my stuff wasn’t cute lol. Not sure they know I was in the store still, but maybe don’t do that? So rude

  There I was, wasting away, thinking “what am I gonna do with my life?”, as I stared into a bowl of broccoli cheddar soup from my local Panera Bread, flavored with the tears of existential dread, when all of a sudden, I spill soup all over myself. How could I save what little dignity I had? I needed clothes, and fast. Thankfully, next to that glorious soup factory lay a safe haven of cloth, a stronghold of fashion I could only dream of. If heaven was a place on earth, it would be this Plato’s closet. As god is my witness, these people saved my life, giving me a second shot at life by finding me the perfect fit to replace my cheddar stained clothes. I still think back to that angel, Millie, who guided me to the men’s section and picked out a shirt that I now have framed over my bed. This is now a family heirloom and shall last for generations to come. Thank you Plato’s closet for saving me from the clutches of embarrassment, and for nicely providing me the service of heroes (and also a bag to put my dirty clothes in). They say never meet your heroes, but I did, and by god they were the best thing that ever happened to me. 10/10 would go again.

  Plato's Closet Nashville saved my life. Ever since moving to Nashville in January of 2020 to start an illustrious music career, only to be immediately stopped by the pandemic, every day has felt like one battle after another. However, the shining light in the midst of that darkness was definitely eating at that Taco Bell on 2nd Ave, followed closely by visiting Plato's Closet Nashville, where a combination of efficient customer service and a swath of wonderful clothing options left me practically skipping out of the store every time. Shoutout especially to Millie, who helped me find these awesome cargo pants that I now wear every chance I get (I tried to attatch a photo but for some reason it didn't work, your loss I guess). One day, I hope to repay Plato's Closet Nashville for all of the good times by writing a hit single about my experiences with them that will top the charts and inevitably be remixed by Tame Impala, Noah Kahan and TV Girl. I'll call it "Thrift Shop", I don't think that name is taken. Thanks again!

  this particular location (Whitebridge Road) needs some serious attention! The employees always seem irritated and annoyed when you take advantage of their buying program (selling your items). I purposely wanted to do my own experiment due to this, which I did and the findings were shocking to say the least. I prepared one Extra large duffel tote Took it into that location signed in and in less than 10 minutes I received a text that my buy was done. Upon inquiring at the front desk, the gentleman who checked me in informed me that I was not going to receive an offer on any of my items when I inquired if there was any reason he stated my items were from Sheen!? Mind you there were three brand new dresses. I had ordered online that I placed on top upon returning to my vehicle. I found that all of my clothes have had been untouched folded originally how I had packed them. He had simply glanced over what was on the top of my duffel bag and assumed the rest were the same, and never went through it how I know it was because my clothes were folded the same way on day four I had my son taking the same exact clothing. Only this time I placed my name Brent items they were in the original duffel bag on the top. Four days later the young lady made an offer on 17 items from the very same tote a few days prior that the young man declined and never went through. It’s like they want you in and out they make you feel as if you’re burning them and adding onto their workload, but isn’t that what Plato’s is known for buying and selling items at a discounted price? So how else would they receive inventory? It’s extremely uncomfortable to say the least on how the employees make you feel. Those were experiences on just those two visits. Received similar attitude if you will from not all, but many of the other employees. One particular incident they had donated our things after they had failed to properly return them on a different visit only for us to notice they were missing, Phone the Store make them aware, was told to return for our missing items and upon doing so we were advised that they had donated them!? They continue to indicate fault on our end for not returning the next day for our items they failed to return!? I kindly advised them that I was not looking for confrontation, nor did I choose to be combative at any point, but that it was due to their error that my things are not returned, which they never informed me of I made them aware once I realized, and also informed them that I’d be returning for my items which they apologized for and confirmed me returning for them. To then attempt to blame a customer for their error is beyond unacceptable furthermore, I politely. Informed them that I understood it was an accidental human error, and that I was willing to work with them for a prompt resolve and remedy. Extremely frustrated and irritated or an understatement to be blamed for something that you are keeping an open mind about trying to be understanding and not push blame her fault for their error is Ludacris. It’s all Unacceptable to say the least.
