- KTKapria TalleyApr 4, 20261.0My mother and I were going in to find tops for Easter Sunday. Immediately, we were greeted. Cool. But it got worse when we went to the shoe section and were followed. One of the staff members were like “Wow, Yall went straight to the shoes.” She said it in such a.. monotone voice, like something was wrong with us looking at the shoes. My mother was immediately uncomfortable and was ready to leave. We went to the floral shirts and two staff members then approached us, asking “so any plans for tomorrow?” “Is there anything we can help you with?” MIND YOU, they already asked when we first came in. We were followed closely and watched like we were going to steal or something. Literally the two women kept walking past us in a total of seven times within five minutes. I’m not the type to pull the race card but we were the only two black people in there, and it was an uncomfortable experience. Never coming back..
