  I genuinely never leave reviews for a place (this is my first time writing one) but my experience at Intimissmi today was awful… I went to just browse bras and the girl working, wearing almost all black, I think maybe a dress or skirt with white flowers, had super curly and sort of bleached hair, was so rude and made me feel horrible about myself. I tried on the bra I picked out, not the size she thought I was after she measured me (didn’t want that) and she came into the fitting room to bring me another bra (didn’t want to try any more on or buy one that wasn’t brown) and she looked at me in the bra I was wearing, scoffed/laughed, and said “that does not fit you babe” in a severely patronizing and genuinely rude tone. In all my 21 years I’ve never had an employee of a store I’m at treat me this way. I really like Intimissmi but this makes me never want to go back there in fear of having to deal with someone like that again which is very unfortunate :(

  I purchased during the buy 5 get 3 free underwear promotion and later needed to exchange two pairs (same price point, different style) because one of the styles was uncomfortable. The promotion was still ongoing at the time of the exchange, yet I was told it couldn’t be honored since it wasn’t considered an “even exchange”. If an exchange only allows you to repurchase the exact same style, is it really an exchange?Instead of simply swapping like-for-like in value, I had to pay full price for one pair. The policy felt overly rigid and not customer-friendly.

  I used to work in product research and development for a big clothing brand so I know that when you wear a see-through white shirt you should either wear a nude tank top that is a shade darker than your skin tone or red (since a true shade match would show up as white underneath). When I tried to explain this to the sales associate, she was very dismissive and rude and told me that she would know better. Just made the entire visit so uncomfortable. My receipt says that my cashier with Samantha and my seller was Isabel. I really hope that this behavior wasn’t because I showed up not wearing any makeup and wearing my tennis outfit, but it does seem like they were judging me off of that.
