- RDRebecca DogruSep 15, 20261.0HORRIBLE customer service! The owner or manager in charge Ashley was EXTREMELY rude and refused to help me or follow American Eagle store policy. I had clothes that I needed to exchange the size and had no proof of purchase. According to American Eagles return policy, they are supposed to exchange sizes without proof of purchase. I’ve attached the policy in the photo. Ashley told me she wasn’t trained to accept that, so sounds to me she’s not qualified for the job! Will be contacting customer support and corporate about this. I was treated horribly and was not offered helpful or proper service here. UPDATE: I went to the American Eagle in Green Hills and they took care of me immediately! Was met with absolute kindness there and she gave me no issues whatsoever. Exchanged the clothes for the right size and had them shipped to my home. Just absolute incompetence at the opry mills mall with Ashley. She’s not qualified to be working with customer service and at the very least needs to go back to training school to learn American Eagle store policy. Just shop at the Green Hills mall, you will get a WAYYY better experience there!

Atlyn and Rob helped find me the size of jeans I wanted because they didn’t have my size on the floor. Ashley the cashier was so polite. It was a really fantastic shopping experience.
