The vision of our 501(c3) nonprofit organization is that ALL people have the opportunity to reach their fullest potential through the power of work.Goodwill Industries of Middle Tennessee is based in Nashville, Tenn. The agency serves 48 counties throughout Middle and West Tennessee, operating 30 retail stores and two outlet stores, about 53 Donation Express Centers and 13 Career Solutions Centers. The nonprofit is one of Tennessee’s largest employers of people with disabilities with more than 45 percent of our workforce reporting some type of disability or disadvantage. Although affiliated with Goodwill Industries International in Rockville, Md., we operate independently through our own governing board of directors. Goodwill accepts gently-used items that donors no longer want, need or use. Those items are sold either in our retail stores or online at onlinegoodwill.com. Revenue from the sale of donated goods helps fund job training services and programs provided by Goodwill Career Solutions. In addition to retail sales, Goodwill depends on several other revenue sources, including state and local grants.

- EPEl Padre5 days ago5.0Like most stores they sell donated items and clothing. They’re short staffed at the cashier station but the one cashier is quick and has a good attitude. I enjoyed shopping around. I didn’t find anything on this trip but lots of people sure did! Enjoy the scavenger hunt!

- SSShehermeMay 1, 20262.0I only give a 2 star because the store has many selection however… everything is donated and you sell it for profit.. my problem is don’t supply bags to carry stuff out and the buggies you can’t even push outdoors… and no we don’t want to BUY BAGS to carry stuff as you are already getting profit from DONATED ITEMS!!! So explain if say a 80 year old woman comes in and purchases a whole buggy of items and you don’t offer bags, how does she get her items to her car?? Something tells me not only lazy people work here but even more lazy people can’t even place an order for bags to carry items to their cars!!! Again things are DONATED!!!! Why do you not have plastic bags? Does it take that much effort to spend the money you are already profited to purchase bags? Please make this make sense????!!!

- AHAllen HallMar 27, 20262.0Expensive for stuff being donated. The goodwill stores seem to think they need to keep up with grocery stores. It's not like they have go and pick items up and can charge for gas. People should get paid for delivering to them. Stop donating to goodwill If you get a chance, look up the salary of a ceo for good will. When people donate, prices should be cheaper. What burns me, you buy electric item and it don't have plug in cord. Check electric items before leaving. Sorry goodwill. I will never donate to you.
