The vision of our 501(c3) nonprofit organization is that ALL people have the opportunity to reach their fullest potential through the power of work.Goodwill of Middle Tennessee is based in Nashville, TN, and serves 48 counties throughout Middle and West Tennessee. Although affiliated with Goodwill Industries International in Rockville, Md., we operate independently through our own governing board of directors. Goodwill accepts gently-used items that donors no longer want, need or use. Those items are sold, and the revenue helps fund job training services and programs provided by Goodwill Career Solutions. In addition to retail sales, Goodwill depends on several other revenue sources, including state and local grants.

They are holding items for people who aren't even in the store for hours...no holding should be allowed. This person had to leave and passed on the items to another regular to hold for the guy who wasn't even there. I was in the store over an hour hoping they would put it back so I could purchase it but still as of when I left the guy hadn't shown up. This is so wrong and unethical to buyers who are ready, willing and able.
