The vision of our 501(c3) nonprofit organization is that ALL people have the opportunity to reach their fullest potential through the power of work.Goodwill of Middle Tennessee is based in Nashville, TN, and serves 48 counties throughout Middle and West Tennessee. Although affiliated with Goodwill Industries International in Rockville, Md., we operate independently through our own governing board of directors. Goodwill accepts gently-used items that donors no longer want, need or use. Those items are sold, and the revenue helps fund job training services and programs provided by Goodwill Career Solutions. In addition to retail sales, Goodwill depends on several other revenue sources, including state and local grants.

- AEAmber EmbertonSep 22, 20261.0My sister, who has intellectual and physical disabilities, bought two CDs and an outfit from the Gallatin Goodwill on Sunday, 9/20. When she got home and opened the CDs, one of them was empty — just the case with no disc inside. She went back to return the empty case, but they refused to give her a refund or allow her to exchange it for an actual CD. She lives on a very limited income, and she chose to spend what little money she has at Goodwill. It’s disappointing that they wouldn’t make this right.
