Thrift Store
The vision of our 501(c3) nonprofit organization is that ALL people have the opportunity to reach their fullest potential through the power of work.Goodwill Industries of Middle Tennessee is based in Nashville, Tenn. The agency serves 48 counties throughout Middle and West Tennessee, operating 30 retail stores and two outlet stores, about 53 Donation Express Centers and 13 Career Solutions Centers. The nonprofit is one of Tennessee’s largest employers of people with disabilities with more than 45 percent of our workforce reporting some type of disability or disadvantage. Although affiliated with Goodwill Industries International in Rockville, Md., we operate independently through our own governing board of directors. Goodwill accepts gently-used items that donors no longer want, need or use. Those items are sold either in our retail stores or online at onlinegoodwill.com. Revenue from the sale of donated goods helps fund job training services and programs provided by Goodwill Career Solutions. In addition to retail sales, Goodwill depends on several other revenue sources, including state and local grants.

- EGE G3 days ago2.0Well, this location is a lil cleaner than most Goodwills but all they had was a lot of Shein, Walmart, and Target brand stuff. Nothing really vintage whatsoever, and, if they did have it, it was the one item that was stained/ripped. The shoppers were so unbelievably rude (not that it's the store's fault, just an observation). When I got to check out with my 2 little sweaters, I was surprised to find that they don't even have bags here. If I'd had a normal thrifting experience like I do back at good thrift stores in Bham, I would've had $100 worth of clothes. If they'd told me they didn't have bags and that had been the size of my purchase here, I would've immediately asked for a refund. Thankfully, I didn't find really anything worthwhile here so I was able to easily carry my two sweaters to the car.
