  I used to enjoy shopping at this store but not as of May 2026. It has really gone downhill over the past few months since the previous store manager left. Newer employees aren't well trained on the computer system/registers. They've hired people who don't understand or speak English to work the salesfloor. Those employees don't know where brands/items are located and have no interest in helping you locate what you're searching for. The interim store manager was not friendly failed to step in to assist employees who had a line of customers waiting and refused to accept constructive criticism. All she offers are defensive excuses. The District Manager who is currently making decisions for this store needs to be replaced AND a really good store manager needs to be hired to turn this situation around. I will be re-contacting the corporate office as my perception is that the current District Manager (whom I spoke with via telephone today) is a part of the problem. I'd hate to see this store close but at this rate it is just hanging on.

  I would give them minus stars!! Took my wedding band in to be cleaned and polished on the care plan I purchased on Feb 2. It is now May 1 and-no ring. Say they cant find it!’ And wont replace the ring!!!! Pitiful excuse for a company

  I had a very negative experience at JCPenney and this so unfortunate because just Sunday I applied for my credit card and I don’t even feel like going back …. I was already checking out at 7:50pm before closing time, yet the associate was rude, yelled at me saying that I should have a ticket if I just bought something assuming that i was lying (after I explained that I had lost the ticket while I went and got some food before I keep shopping). She treated my husband unfairly by raising her voice over him after she thought he was about to try on clothes but still it was 7:49pm (that was so not necessary).When I asked for an exchange without a receipt (which I had accidentally lost), she spoke to me disrespectfully instead of explaining the policy professionally. On top of that, after I got home I realized I was overcharged: one item was scanned twice. This shows both poor customer service,and lack of attention at checkout. I expect to be treated with respect as a paying customer. This experience was unacceptable. If it’s 7:00pm , don’t even think about going there.An amazing shopping experience would definitely turn into a nightmare…!!! If associates can’t take care of customers at 7:53pm , let them just go home save others from having to deal with their rudeness
