  I am incredibly disappointed with how the Mitchell Cabela’s and their corporate office handled property damage caused by their facilities. About a month ago, I visited this location and parked in the corner of the lot. While my car was parked, their sprinklers came on and soaked it, leaving severe hard water spots that would not come out with a standard wash. I called the store to explain what happened and spoke directly with the store manager, Roger. He was initially helpful, assuring me that Cabela’s would take care of the damage and put it through their insurance. Acting in good faith, I spent my own time getting three separate quotes for the required auto detail. Roger even called me back later to confirm that their insurance was 'working on it.' After a week or two of complete silence, I called back for an update. I was then informed that corporate had denied the claim entirely. Their excuse? Because I called in instead of walking back inside the physical store on the exact day of the incident to report it, they refused to take responsibility. It is completely unacceptable for a store manager to give a customer their word, instruct them to get repair quotes, and then allow a multi-billion-dollar corporation to back out on a trivial technicality. I am now stuck paying $600 out of pocket to fix the paint damage caused by their sprinklers. Park at your own risk, and do not expect management to honor their word if their property damages yours.

  Had issues with buying a rain jacket for my girlfriend. The employees inside were really helpful with refunding and pointing me in the direction of an alternate option. Very good staff working at this location.

  Stores are great but their matching and beating prices policy is baloney! Tried three times to match gun prices and they made excuses and would not match prices from competitors. This is why i have bought 3/4 of my guns from competitors. Runnings and Scheels customer service has found a way to make it happen. Cabela's just says NO. It does no good saying you will match and beat competition when they will not. 3 times to me.

  Hey Matthew Burtch! What was that you said about how you never hang out with coworkers outside of work and keep it professional? But it seems like your buddy Ben got an easy spot back into the company after you took over. Everyone sees what you did...lol
