  I used to enjoy the store but the attitude and having people at the register for 15 min unacknowledged at the register is insane. Not to mention hearing the employees complain about customers in the store "messing up stuff" makes me just not wanna shop. And several employees just talk on the phone with friends and family all the time. Somehow despite them always stocking it seems to stay empty product wise. Some employees are nice and do well but over all I wont go there or if certain people are working.

  On Sunday, I took my neighbor shopping before heading back to Summerville. We stopped in Family Dollar in Vance. At times, I’ll drive to the Santee store where Linda is the managers because she and her team are so pleasant, but the Vance location was convenient. As I was shopping, this girl, came up to me for the third time just to pick on me. The first time was because my purse was large, I said I’m only buying batteries, but I understand and will not use it in this store. The second time she harassed me was when I picked up two sweatshirts because it was getting cold and I didn’t bring warm clothes. She stopped in front of my buggy and said “you can’t be messing up them clothes” I simply said, I haven’t touched the clothes except these 2 sweatshirts, she said, you did. I said, I promise, except for these 2 sweatshirts, I have no interest in the clothes. Now we are back to Sunday, she of course, targeted me again about a container which I dropped on the floor because it was far to high to reach, after the plastic container fell I put it in my buggy. After she stopped glaring at me she noticed a can of air freshener in my buggy. She said “you be spraying all this stuff you can’t do that. I said I am buying it. She went on and on and I said “you never have to worry about me stepping into this store again, you are so rude and you enjoy bullying me” The first time it was the purse initially, well she interrupted and said “you had been kicked out of this store, we told you that you can’t be in here for stealing. I explained, she had the wrong person, and my guess is she knew it. She did this in front of the entire store. My neighbor came to my defense, stating I am so kind and some whom I am acquainted with and even strangers consoled me . I paid for my items and left. She was on the phone with the manager and followed me out. Never have I been so intimidated at a store in my life. I emailed Family Dollar before writing this, but they did not respond. Either this deplorable treatment of their customers infest so many other locations, they are overwhelmed or they simply don’t care. It is a crying shame, where customers spend there money to be ridiculed. I am taking further steps since they ignored my Email.

  Aisles are crowded with boxes of merchandise. Gospel music playing on Sunday.

  I did get what I came after but several aisles were blocked by stock waiting to be shelved
