Very disappointed with my experience at Playlist Closet. I brought in a large basket with around 100 pieces of clothing, and I dropped everything off to be evaluated. Within only 15 minutes, I got the text my clothes were ready, I received the entire basket back with absolutely nothing accepted. What makes this even more frustrating is that everything still had tags on it and was brand new. I had items from brands like Aeropostale, Nike, H&M, Hollister, Fashion Nova, and Lululemon and some good quality Jeans and jean shorts and 2 piece sets and dresses. I intentionally folded some of the clothes a certain way when I dropped them off to see if they would actually go through everything, and some of those pieces were still folded exactly the same way when I got them back. It honestly felt like they did not thoroughly look through my basket. I completely understand that not every item may fit their current inventory or standards, but around 100 brand-new, tagged pieces being returned in 15 minutes with not a single item accepted does not feel like a fair or thorough evaluation. And almost all of my stuff were in style. And when you walk around the store, you will see a bunch of faded clothing that should not have been accepted if my brand new stuff weren’t. I took the time to bring in a huge basket of new clothing from recognizable brands, and I expected each piece to at least be properly looked at. Very disappointed with the experience and would not recommend it based on how my clothes were handled.

I wasn't impressed with my experience here. The vibe felt off from the moment we walked in. The greeting was very dry, but the energy seemed completely different when another family came in. Throughout the visit, I felt like we were being watched and given uncomfortable looks. What really disappointed me was the offer I received for my items. I was offered only $3.50 for a two-piece set that would likely be resold for much more. They also advertise that they accept name-brand clothing, but in my experience, that wasn't the case. I've had much better experiences at Plato's Closet in Columbia, where the staff was more welcoming and the buying process felt fair. Unfortunately, this location is a no for me, and I won't be returning.

i came in to sell today and when i was looking through items they did not take I found a open pen that had leaked ink onto my clothes from their store. When i called to see what could be done i was told there was nothing they could do even though it was the employees fault who apparently can’t take the time and consideration of other people’s items. I frequent this store even though the service is not very great and they often give very little amounts of money for clothes that are expensive and in great condition. After today’s experience I will not be selling or shopping here again.
