  ONE STAR Because of an employee interaction. It is 1758. There is a worker named Alex in the store. Her attitude is HORRIBLE. I tried on a shoe with my sock on... didnt walk in them. She came up and offered me a stocking. I told her no thank you (because I was about to take the shoe off) She rudely, loudly and unnecessarily interrupted me with "Uhhhh. Well your going to stretch out the shoe! I work here and i know---" I cut her off and asked what was her problem. She got louder with customers in the store and tried to literally cry to her manager on duty. I am at the back of store and can still hear her. Alex is TERRIBLE. I've never had an issue in this store til now. The other individual on shift was perfect.

  Been very disappointed every time I’ve tried to shop at this location- not only with the selection (plenty of shoes, but not great choices), but the overall cleanliness of this store. It feels dirty and not well maintained. See photos… like what the actual hell? Pulled a box of shoes off the shelf and this fell by my foot… No longer hopeful I will find something at this store I like, which is a bummer, as I like to support ‘brick & mortar’ stores.

  I had a really disappointing experience at DSW. I came in with my two kids and my dad. He was helping watch one child while I shopped for shoes for the other. My one-year-old was walking around (as one-year-olds do) and reached out to touch a shoe box. A sales associate immediately came over and said “no, no, don’t touch that” in a very sharp tone. Then she told my dad he should pick him up and even called him “hyper.” He’s one. That comment was completely unnecessary and honestly just rude. It didn’t stop there. My dad asked the same associate a simple question about a shoe, and instead of just answering, she gave an attitude-filled explanation about why only one shoe is in the box. When my dad told her she didn’t need to be snippy, she apologized and said she had a learning disability. While I understand that, it doesn’t excuse repeatedly speaking to customers in a rude or dismissive way. At checkout, things didn’t improve. The cashier was clearly occupied with her phone and barely engaged with us. She did look up long enough to tell us we had missed a discount by one day, which was frustrating, but there was no effort to be helpful or even polite. Overall, the customer service was disappointing across the board. I don’t expect perfection, but I do expect basic respect—especially when shopping with young children. This experience made me feel unwelcome, and I won’t be returning to this location.
