  The lady who regularly works in the shoe department was rude, and sent me to another register over in cosmetics where there was nobody there to ring up my purchase. She had no other customer there at that time. I ended up waiting a long time for help and meanwhile she started helping two other separate customers there as I was then waiting for the cashier in cosmetics to finish with her customer. That clerk in the shoe department kept looking over toward me but never called me over to help me after all with my shoe purchase. I would've walked back over there but it seemed very awkward at that point. I opened up a Belk's credit account that day when the clerk in cosmetics invited me to. Then I wondered if they each get credit for that and if so, then the shoe department clerk missed out.
