Visited here for the first time today and we had a great experience. From the selection of toys, squishies, and friendly customer service— we will definitely be making the drive from Seneca again.

Such a magical and special place where the people that work there truly care and it shows! Don’t miss this toy experience!

I got off work early today and rushed over to grab a birthday present, knowing exactly what I wanted. I arrived about five minutes before closing, only to find the doors already locked while employees were still inside and appeared to be avoiding acknowledging me.
I completely understand that I was cutting it close, but I was still there before the posted closing time. I had also tried calling on my way over and no one answered the phone.
At exactly 5:00, another group of kids rushed up who said they had just driven from Simpsonville trying to make it before closing, only to find the doors locked as well.
This was incredibly disappointing. I constantly encourage people to shop small and support local businesses, but experiences like this are exactly what push customers toward e-commerce and big-box stores where posted hours are reliable. I was intentionally trying to support a small business today and left feeling like my business wasn’t wanted.
I understand wanting to leave on time at the end of the day—but if your posted closing time is 5:00, customers should reasonably expect to be able to walk through the door until 5:00. Unfortunately, this experience left a really bad impression and I will not ever attempt buying from them again and I’ll make sure I share with my friends and neighbors in the area.

We drove from Simpsonville to downtown Greenville to go to Elephant Trunk. We got to the business before closing time (listed on Google) and they were closed. Another potential customer said she got to the door 5 minutes before closing and still got turned away. If you’re a small business, especially a toy store, why would you want to close early. I’ll take my business to Amazon instead of supporting a small local business.
Will never spend my money here again, I asked if they could wrap something that I had purchased on clearance, Mind you this is my first time buying something off the clearance rack!!!! And this isn’t my first time buying a gift here, they have done it for us each time. so I asked if she would still do that even tho I purchased it on clearance. She told me for $2 , And I was going to pay that… I went to my car to get the change. The lady was so rude and snooty. Made a nasty face and got all huffy and puffy. You guys showed your true colors. I was in a really happy mood buying a baby toy for my nephew turning one. CRAZY a toy store can ruin that feeling. Will tell my friends and family to avoid this place.
Edit to your reply: this was not a miscommunication, this was an employee expressing how upset they were when being asked to do their job. Thanks for your reply.
