  Shopped here today. Staff not very friendly or helpful. Found out the my Father’s Day gifts were not able exchange because they came from a regular store. After the (we can’t exchange, you need to go to Charlotte). Then the clerk asks if I wanted the shorts I had spent 20 minutes trying on. Told her that I would not be purchasing anything from the factory or regular store. So I went to Belks and bought (3) pairs of Vintage Vine shorts.

  Love JCrew Factory but this store was rude. I had my hands full of clothes to try on and no one offered to start a fitting room. At least three Employees standing around talking. When ready to check out, one reluctantly came to check me out. It’s just JCrew Factory…. Get over yourself and be helpful to people actually spending money. I’ll stick to the Spartanburg store.

  I have shopped here many many times. The staff have never been overly friendly but today was ridiculous. The woman who I assume was the manager was extremely rude. She all but rolled her eyes at me when i walked in, refused to make eye contact and looked away when I tried to smile. She then proceeded to follow me around the store like I was stealing. I know this because she never asked if she could help me find anything or start me a dressing room, even though I had things in my hands. I’m assuming it’s because I had a tote bag, which is ridiculous. She then helped me at the register and did not even look up when she said “are you ready to check out?”. It makes no sense for any staff to act this snotty when this is a factory store.

  The staff here is super unfriendly. Not one person approached and offered help. They were super friendly with each other, however (actually a little over the top- likely to avoid helping anyone). Please train your manager in customer service- she was the worst of all. Your service is only as good as the person leading it. This was awful!

  I am glad there is J. Crew representation in town again. It is a factory store, but the selection isn't bad for the area. The service is okay. The first time I went into the store, someone did offer me help. The second time, I had to double check and argue prices on Black Friday. None of my merchandise came up correctly at 60%. In the end, they did correct the error for me but I had to show them the signing on every item. The staff didn't seem overly concerned about correcting their system or making sure it didn't happen again. That being said, I am generally satisfied with the store. It seems that some product sourcing has changed. I cannot tell you if that is good or bad. I still like the styles, and I have had a good experience with quality in the past. I am glad they are here. If anything changes (service or product), I will update my review.
