  Needed a tire and tube for our daughter’s bike while vacationing at the state park campground. Had just what we needed! Great selection of bike accessories, fishing gear and souvenirs. We will definately be back!

  Rented a golf cart last summer. Shop owner's "son" tried to say the battery on cart was dead even though we had it charged all week (if "dead" how did we drive it all the way from point st?). Tried to charge me extra $100 for "dead" battery. When I complained the husband called me a b*&ch! Condescending and very rude. Different story when my husband showed up. Jack-hole owners. Reviewers saying the island is "laid back" and visitors should stop complaining are RIGHT! Edisto is wonderful but their apparent friendship with these owners is misplaced. I'm literally speechless that this place remains in business! I'll be using the place on Docksite or walking! We are long time visitors by the way!

  This place MADE our vacation the best it could be. The people there are all so kind and caring. We brought our own bicycles and found a flat tire on one of our bicycles. They repaired it in minutes; and offered solutions to repel sand fleas that WORKED! It was our 11th Anniversary and we spent 20 minutes in this place just talking to the staff. My mom had fallen and had two broken feet on vacation, she was in a wheel chair during our stay and the ONLY thing that made her stay bearable was the golf cart rental. *NOTE* Edisto Beach has a policy of golf cart rentals for residents only. We did NOT expect to be able to rent a golf cart, as we were vacationing. We were pleasantly surprised to rent one. I think this place is the BEST place on Edisto Island. These people MAKE Edisto Beach.

  Rented a golf cart. Was treated like a prisoner of North Korea. This guy is the biggest A-hole in SC. Been boycotting them for 5 years. In economics I believe this is called a geographic monopoly. Thank goodness several others have opened up on the island. The only way this guy is in business is because of first timers who don't know. He has zero repeat customers. Cheers!

  Rented 5 bikes and 2 carriers for the family for a long weekend. $200.00. The husband and wife team were not friendly but still were able to rent the bikes. The service / delivery guys were great. The bikes were rusty and in pretty bad shape... in fact, I had to replace my bike twice. On the third bike the pedals completely fell apart. So, my old son called and asked if the would bring one of the other bikes and exchange it. He told him we don't just come down the road to fix a flat tire or a loose chain - very quick and rude. My 27 year old son walked this bike back and was immediately cursed out using the "f" word (4 or 5 times) in front of another potential customer and her kids. Really nothing we can do except warn others and recommend another bike shop on the island - Edisto Watersports & Tackle 3731 Docksite Rd Edisto Island, SC 29438 If you look my account up i have never given a bad review - Charles
