  Jason and the crew are absolutely amazing here. They are extremely personable and good at making even normal people feel very welcome. Purchasing process was also very straightforward. For as long as I live in the Charleston area, they’ll have me as a customer.

  Demetre represents the pinnacle of customer service. In today’s environment, it is rare to feel that your business is genuinely appreciated and that your hard-earned money is being spent with a company that truly values you as a person. MP Demetre is one of the few places where I actually look forward to making a purchase. I have bought several watches from Peter, Matt, and Logun, and each of them consistently goes above and beyond to provide an exceptional experience. Their professionalism, attention to detail, and commitment to their customers set them apart. Please keep up the outstanding work.

  We had a disappointing first experience with Demetre bringing my wife’s Rolex in for routine service. The team we dealt with came across as rude and condescending, which made the interaction uncomfortable. The overall tone felt less like customer service and more like we should feel fortunate to be dealing with them. I understand that servicing a Rolex involves specific procedures and timelines, and I also understand this location may deal with a lot of tourist traffic and casual inquiries. That said, when a customer brings in an expensive watch for service at an authorized Rolex dealer, I would expect the communication style to be adjusted to professional, respectful, and helpful. Instead, we were left feeling dismissed rather than assisted. We are somewhat new to the area and at our ages, finding a reputable jeweler we feel comfortable with matters. Unfortunately, this was not that experience. They could have gained a loyal customer for the next 20 to 25 years, but they lost that opportunity during the very first interaction. Based on this visit, I would be hesitant to return or recommend this dealer. My wife has no interest in going back, and I will be taking my own watch to the next closest Rolex dealer in Augusta, GA this month rather than deal with the attitude here again. I am also considering another Rolex purchase, so this location has not only lost the service on my existing watch, but also the opportunity for a future sale, along with normal jewelry and gift purchases.

  So my son and I went down on a whim to Charleston, SC from Irmo, SC about 2 hours away. Since we are moving to Charleston later next month. We wanted to make our self known at our soon to be "watch" AD. Once you walk into MP Demetre, you see the heavy hitter (Rolex). Having bought, quite a few Rollies at my local AD. I know they are "Expeditions only". Being an out-of-towner and first timers in the store, they wouldn't sell one to me anyways. So my son and I walked pass the Rolex section, to see the other selection of watches they have. We were greeted by a lovely and very polite female, named Aubrey. Very easy going and pleasant to talk to. She showed us a few watches from Grand Seiko, Tudor, and a pre owned Rolex. You could tell she's new. Which really isn't a bad thing. Because I could see the uncertainty in some of the answers she gave. But what really impressed me was though she was uncertain about something, she did qualify those answers buy asking a fellow Rep. Which was a plus, because I know a few Reps what would just say something even though it was wrong. She isn't that type of Rep. Our overall experience with MP Demetre and Aubrey was a very positive one. Though we didn't purchase anything this time around. We look forward to working with Aubrey on our next timepiece purchase.
