- MMMatthew M.Aug 1, 20265.0Leading with this so whomever needs to see it, sees it: the cool girl (with the eyebrows) who rang me up whose name I didn’t get this afternoon around 3PM was INCREDIBLE. Super helpful and knowledgeable at check out, HOWEVER, and this is a huge HOWEVER, the grown woman who was also behind the counter who kept interrupting her as we were MID CONVERSATION (with no one else in line) to talk about her break was SO rude. Lady, take a hint, and maybe some notes: Girl with the Dragon Tattoo is giving great customer service! GIVE HER A MIN. Cool girl is the sole reason my visit today was 5 stars. J.Crew, I guarantee you’re going to lose her to new stores coming to King if the way she was treated by her coworker IN FRONT OF A CUSTOMER is any indication of the culture there. And that would be a huge loss. But also, girl go where you’re respected! As for J. Crew on King: Tried and true. My go-to for classic preppy and so grateful this shop has a pretty decent men’s section with full size runs. Yes it’s two hours away but worth it to see things in person vs. online. Noticed they no longer sell Crewcuts which is disappointing. Parking was relatively easy for Saturday with a metered street spot around the corner. King street was bustling and J. Crew was moderately busy.
