- CC.M.T !!Aug 3, 20261.0Apart from the young girl at the cash register, everybody was very very rude and customer service here is just terrible. I wouldn’t waste my time going back here ever again. I’d rather just go to the Greenville location where they actually know what they’re doing.. I got a gift card from my friend for JCPenney for my birthday. They didn’t know how to process it. They kept saying that the system doesn’t recognize it as a JCPenney card or that there are not enough numbers or there’s too many pin numbers for it to be a JCPenney gift card and at no point did someone just say hey we don’t know how to process it after wasting my time here for 1015 minutes, I decided to just walk away I was able to make the purchase online with the same said gift card that they claim was not JCPenney‘s gift card even though they were able to do a balance check on it and when I asked, how are you able to check balance if it’s not a JCPenney gift card in the manager person whoever it was was like I don’t know like it’s common sense you cannot check a gift card if it’s not that stores gift card. I ended up using the remainder of the balance on that gift card at the Greenville store location and they were able to process it just fine so never will I ever go back to the Anderson location.
