  Exceptional customer service. Came here with my wife and toddler to learn about modern wood burning stoves for our home. The staff were incredibly gracious and entertained our daughter, freeing up mom and dad to learn everything you’ll ever need to know about stove safety, maitenance and how to get the most out of them. By the time all of our questions were answered, we had lost track of time and realized it was 20 minutes past closing. The team was very kind in not making us feel rushed. It’s rare to experience a business treat their customers so well and we look forward to getting a stove from them. If I could give 6 stars I would.

  Josh, Andre, Matt, Emily just to mention a few of the wonderful people that go above and beyond to help make your gas stove experience amazing! Recently Andre walked me through a procedure to get my pilot light back on after strong winds blew it out! He was patient and the perfect teacher— we did it together by cell phone!!!! I couldn’t thank him enough! Josh, the owner, has been helping me for 20 years now with my 2 stoves. He is also amazing, and I can always depend on his advice and service for my units. Matt also did a wonderful job at my home repairing a few items. He was kind and very respectful. I could go on and on but this review should end by saying I would never go anywhere else for gas stoves, fireplace units, etc. They are truly the best in Rhode Island!!!

  The product is GOOD - however the installer was - and I never say this - obnoxious to our clients. Followed by a ridiculous statement by the Sales Manager. All they had to do is have the installer call us, (we, contractors who prepped wall for stove install) instead of said inataller going outside and being loud AND swearing alot - about the hole not being big enough, for the vent. It was not a big deal to alter the opening-- Even the GAS GUY, said it great, all good, ----- but THEN the Sales manager, Andre, came to client''s house, because we complained about the installer 's swearing, etc.- and he wanted to pull the stove! ?? The stove is BOUGHT And PAID for-- and the repairs to framing on wall are minor-- if they just CALLED us to tell us what was needed, as we told the owner of the house -- to have them CALL us -- IF any issues or adjustments were needed! The installer showed us (the contactor) what had to be done, and it's a minor adjustment, so why installer had to upset the owner, I do not know. The Sales Manager showed up at the house -- after WE went to Wakefield Fireplace & Stoves, to complain about installer 's swearing, etc. And upsetting the owners wife. The Sales Manager said, " I'm gonna pull the stove"- to the owner of the house-- Totally UNacceptable and UNprofessional!! Never had anything like that happen with any vendor in any house we have worked in or on. Ever. We have customers all over Gansett, JT, Block Island, CT, Richmond, Charlestown, Newport, South Kingstown, Middletown, NK, - and more. I hope something like this never happens again. So much upset, for nothing.

  Their tech Matt did a great job servicing our propane fireplace. He kept at it until it burned beautifully, and has ever since he tweaked it. I have to give Matt a glowing report..
