Plato's Closet
1401 Douglas Avenue, Suite 6, North Providence, RI
Upon arrival when I walked in, it was not even busy at all. However, despite how slow it was, I could not get help from employees who are standing right near me behind the counter. When I finally did get attention and told her it was my first time there. She said scan the QR code and let me know when you're ready and walked away. Nothing more. Nothing less. When I explained my phone was not working properly I got no verbal response just to look. She had me wait it out and then a full tote and a full bag full of items. I was offered $1.20 for one item and the rest she said were not trendy. More than half of them came from Plato's closet previously, which is the funny part. I will not be doing business there in the future until staffing can be further assisted then I suggest the same for anyone looking

Threw all my belongings (I had 700$ worth of clothes. Many never worn, still had tags on them) in the trash , due to a system failure and bad communication on their end. Spent 30 minutes getting my belongings out of the dumpster , which many were ruined as the dumpster is shared with restaurants and other stores in the plaza. Some items were missing completely. The woman I spoke to over the phone and at the counter was really rude and not empathetic or even understanding. Not even helpful.

this place actually sucks. Do not come here if you want to sell go the Warwick one. I brought in a bin with lululemon, and Nike and they tried to say it was out of style, as for when I went to the Warwick one with the items they gave me back they bought 95% of them. This is why the north providence one sucks and the Warwick one actually does good business. Not to mention I wait 5 hours for barely anything. I would give 0 starts if it was an option
Edit- I’m really enjoying their reply… mentioning skinny jeans that were non existent lmao, but nothing on the alo, and lululemon leggings they gave back to me along with several other items genuinely please don’t waste your time here

Not worth your time. The girl on the phone said I could bring shoes in before 6pm get there at 4:45 and they told me to come tmr. I work 40 hours a week and drove over 30 minutes. Do not waste your time rather go to the Warwick location.
