Plato's Closet buys and sells gently used clothing, shoes, sneakers, accessories and athletic wear for teens and young adults in Wyomissing. Sell styles you no longer wear for cash on the spot, or shop thrifted, secondhand, and resale fashion, including trendy, brand-name styles for less. With 500+ independently owned and operated locations across the U.S. and Canada, fresh inventory arriving daily, Plato's Closet makes thrifting easy, affordable, and more sustainable.
This is by far the worst places to sell clothes. Attitudes are horrendous. Yuck!

I came in earlier this Sunday to check out the 70% off sale and received outstanding customer service from a girl named "yas" it was my first time in the store and i had cross path with the sweet young girl she had gave me a complement saying she loved my teal hair! (I freshly dyed it and was a little scared that it didn't suit me but she reassured me that it looked good) i love how see treats every customer like a friend she seems to be a pleasure to be around with a ball of energy its quite rare to see on workers, around her age she left quite a great impression! I will be sure to stop and shop here again!

Espero volver a verla. Los precios parecen bastante buenos y la ropa también está bien.

I’ve had consistently disappointing experiences selling items at this location. I frequently shop here and spend a significant amount of money, so naturally, I bring back items that are in line with the styles they advertise as currently in demand. However, nearly every time I attempt to sell, they either accept only one item or nothing at all.
Most recently, I brought in four full bags of spring, summer, and in-style denim pieces—items very similar to what is sold in-store—and only one item was accepted. At checkout, I was also told that “kids’ clothes” are not accepted, which was confusing and frustrating, as I do not wear or bring in children’s clothing. In fact, the majority of my wardrobe comes directly from this store.
What makes this more frustrating is that when I take similar items to other locations, they accept a much larger portion without issue. This leads me to feel that this particular location may be overly selective or inconsistent in their buying practices.
I would appreciate more transparency and consistency, especially for loyal customers who both shop and sell regularly
