- BLBrooke LJun 12, 20261.0The store is poorly managed, particularly under the leadership of Mercedes and Christine. You rarely see Mercedes because she hides in her office and complains and yells. Instead she should put some physical work in on the floor and learn how to talk to employees and customers. The sales floor is always scattered with clothing, shoes, and other merchandise. The fitting rooms have repeatedly been left in unacceptable condition, with piles of discarded clothing and other unsanitary issues that should be addressed promptly. Cleanliness and organization are basic expectations in any retail environment. It’s really concerning how much pressure is placed on customers to apply for a store card. Employees are expected to prioritize credit card applications over providing genuine customer service. I have also witnessed employees speaking negatively about customers, referring to frequent shoppers by awful nicknames. I was especially disturbed by comments regarding certain races and the way they shop. This type of behavior is unprofessional, disrespectful, and creates an unwelcoming atmosphere. I hope JCPenney’s corporate leadership takes these concerns seriously and works toward improving management accountability, staffing levels, customer service standards, cleanliness, and the overall shopping experience. Customers deserve to feel respected and comfortable while shopping!

- EPEmily PetscheApr 3, 20263.0Every time I'm here I regret it. More times than not I have left items and walked out because the line is so long and they only have one cashier. Usually you hit the jackpot too, and all the people infront of you are applying for the credit card, so you have to wait even longer. The clothes aren't even that nice anymore and they're over priced. Everything you see them selling is stuff that will be in TJMaxx in another month or two for even cheaper.
