  I called ahead about returning an item I purchased online and was told I could either receive store credit or do an exchange if I came into the store. When I arrived, the blonde manager was incredibly rude and refused to help, despite me explaining that I had already called and confirmed the return policy. The item I was returning actually arrived with minor staining, which is why I wanted to return it in the first place. It still had the original tags attached, yet she implied that I had somehow damaged it myself. I’m not sure how she thought I managed to wear and stain something while the tags were still on. I was also returning a pair of shorts with absolutely no damage, so there was really no reason to refuse the return or create an issue. What made the interaction worse was how dismissive and condescending she was toward me. I’m sixteen, and it was very obvious that she was stereotyping me and didn’t take me seriously because of my age. Instead of listening to what I was saying, she brushed me off and treated me like I was lying. When I asked what had changed between the information I received on the phone and what she was telling me in the store, she completely avoided the question and kept repeating that she was the manager—as if that somehow justified the way she was acting. I ended up leaving the store without resolving anything. However, the number she gave me to call refunded me within seconds. That alone proves the situation could have been handled easily, and the only reason it wasn’t is because this manager chose to make it difficult. I’ve had good experiences with lululemon and this location in the past, which made this even more disappointing. Being young doesn’t mean a customer deserves to be dismissed, talked down to, or treated unfairly. Management needs to speak with the blonde manager (I didn’t get her name) about manners and proper treatment of customers.

  Found what I needed and the store was clean. Employees were nice and customer service was good.
