  I had the best customer service experience yesterday by a saleswoman named Aite Rania. A shining example of what customer service should be. I had a repair that was needed on a bracelet that I believe was the first thing I purchased at Tiffany’s. It was my second 1837 collection bracelet bought years ago. Long story short. Aite waived the repair fee as a one time courtesy. The point of the story is I will tell people about the pleasant experience , as well as return to the store in the future , because of how my situation was handled. With patience , competence and knowledge.

  I finally had an opportunity to write this long overdue review. I don't typically review retail stores, but I encountered a lovely young women at the Tiffany store on Walnut St. in Philadelphia named Danielle who was incredibly helpful. I was in to purchase a special gift for my mother but had no idea what I would get her and was very indecisive. She was patient, professional and charming and asked questions that truly helped me narrow down the choices to pick the perfect gift. Danielle is such an asset to this business and I am grateful for her assistance. And the best part - my mother in law truly loved her gift and said it was the perfect choice!

  Regardless of where you purchase your jewelry, from a designer or a box store, you deserve to be treated with respect and courtesy. When I walked into the Tiffany & Co in Philadelphia yesterday, 4 of the 5 employees probably would have done a great job, as they have in the past, unfortunately however, this time I was intercepted by, who I am going to guess, was the manager. He interrupted me as I was speaking to an employee, about my new necklace. He seemed annoyed that I was asking about the authenticity of my piece. He flat out said that he could not say whether or not it was a Tiffany & Co design, and in fact, no one could. When I mentioned that it was stamped Tiffany, he said that does not make any difference. He said that in his 11 years with Tiffany he never saw my particular design. I had the distinct impression that the other employees where mildly uncomfortable. He could not have been ruder if he had opened the door and requested that I leave. I like Tiffany, I have had good experiences in the Philadelphia location, but this guy brings down the Tiffany name and reputation in irreparable ways. Someone from Tiffany & Co might want to give him a few lessons on manners. Please! and Thank You.
