Yes by all means trade a watch to this company and receive 1/3 of its value and then have them reduce that even further after they complete their 2 week long inspection. A watch worn less than 10 times allegedly needs a complete refinish even further reducing the trade amount.
I have been collecting watches for more than 20 years and have transacted business with most of the major retailers.
That being said, I would never conduct business with this Company again.
I met with their Staff on June 20th, 2026, for a Rolex event. In anticipation of same, I arranged to have two of my watches brought in for trade. My watches were complete box and papers, hangtags, receipts, etc.
It took the Company nearly two weeks to evaluate my trades and when they did so, they significantly reduced the quoted appraised value of one of the watches. As it was, the appraised values were already significantly below market.
They promised delivery of a new piece to their Christana location nearly two weeks from receiving my trades.
On the day of delivery they advised that the watch wasnt shipped to their Christiana location (interfering with vacation plans).
They could have simply driven the watch from Ardmore to Delaware (36.3 miles). They did suggest that *I* could drive to PA to pick up the watch on the day of the promised delivery but then I would have to pay PA tax as a result of their error.
Keep in mind, I have already paid for this new piece (despite their glitchy payment system) and theyve had my watches for nearly two weeks.
This was a terrible experience for a number of reasons:
1. I was not and remain uncomfortable with their valuations on trades. I dont begrudge any businesses making some money and in the watch trade this isnt unusual. However, their valuations were below even most other watch stores.
2. I felt it dishonest that they reneged on their already low appraised values for alleged 'refinishing' of the trades (one of the watches had hardly ever been worn)
3. They missed the delivery date out of their own negligence and didnt seem to care enough to drive the watch 30 minutes to meet the delivery timeframe
In all, I would caution against using this company.
The salesperson, individually, was a nice guy who seems to care about their customers. Unfortunately, the Company itself doesnt seem to care about making these transactions special or even enjoyable. I felt like I was buying a used car frankly - thats the vibe. Even then, the used car folks wouldve likely delivered the product on time and gone the extra step of driving the product 30 miles to make the delivery deadline.
Caveat Emptor.

It was a great experience working with Ian purchasing my watch. From the beginning he was informative and very communicative through out the whole process. In fact, I will miss communicating with him and plan to keep in touch. They have a customer for life!

I had an appointment with Eddie Colon today in their Center City Philly store. I live in Costa Rica, but am from Philly so on this trip back for a visit I wanted to pick up a nice watch. The appointment was to look at new Submariners. Going in I was a little worried the 41mm would look too big for my wrist. And they did and with the ceramic bezel they were just too clunky for me. Instead of being disappointed that he might be losing that sale (like many salespeople would), he mentioned that they had really nice previously owned certified Submariners that because they were older were 40mm and had aluminum bezels that were less clunky. And he was right. I found a watch I absolutely loved and went from being bummed to being ecstatic. That is what good salespeople do. They listen and they pivot. Eddie is great and will only get greater. Savvy well beyond his years.

I worked with Monica Moc to get my first Rolex, and couldn’t have had a better experience. She was highly professional, knowledgable, and took the time to walk me through the entire process. I ended up receiving the watch much sooner than expected, and her level of service exceeded all expectations. I would highly recommend Monica to anyone looking to make their next purchase and receive incredible service.

Gregory is absolutely top-notch. He is professional, knowledgeable, and a pleasure to work with. He goes above and beyond to make every interaction enjoyable and takes the time to build genuine relationships with his clients.
His communication is excellent, and his passion for watches and customer service really shows. Working with Gregory has been one of the best boutique experiences I’ve had, and I truly appreciate all of his help. If you’re visiting the store, I highly recommend asking for Gregory—you’ll be in great hands.
