  I’m sorry I have to agree with the reviews below. I myself have worked in retail, I get the shoplifting a problem for most stores in the city I never felt more uncomfortably. No smile just suspicious stares and awkward hey can I help you around every corner. Especially as black American I need to not be treated like a criminal. Thanks Alo

  My partner and his friend went into the store and spent over $1,000 on items, including some birthday gift for me. Since they didn’t have the color I wanted for a sweater, the item was ordered for me. When they placed the order, the staff asked for my name and phone number, and my partner specifically let them know that I would be the person picking up the item. When he got an email stating that the order arrived, he sent me the confirmation email letting me know it was ready for pickup. I went into the store after work with the order number, confirmation, and proof of purchase. However, the way the staffs looked at me and treated me made me feel as though I was there to steal or scam someone simply because I was trying to pick up the order. I provided the order number, yet they still refused to let me pick up the item and ignored me. Days later, the item still hasn’t been picked up because my partner and his friend are out of town, and I refuse to step foot back into this store after the way I was treated. I’m beyond disgusted and disappointed with the staffs at this location. I’ve been to this ALO location twice, and although I had previously read comments from people describing experiences involving racism and discrimination , this was the first time I personally experienced something that made me understand those concerns firsthand. No one should be made to feel suspicious, uncomfortable, or treated differently when they are simply trying to pick up an item that was legitimately purchased and paid for. This experience was completely unacceptable! Follow up: They picked up the order today, and honestly, I’m even more pissed now because my full first and last name, along with my phone number, is clearly on the package. What was so hard about simply asking me for an ID to verify that I was the person picking it up? This whole situation is absolutely disgusting and completely unacceptable.

  The worst customer service. The staff who helped me wasn’t enthusiastic, no smile. I said at the beginning that I wanted to order for pick up. After I finished making the payment, I wanted to confirm that it would be a pick up order. He said that it would be delivered to my house. I was so disappointed and canceled my order. I would never shop here again

  Don’t buy the cotton shorts I’ve bought 3 pair and the all get Lint that can’t be removed after 1 wash. They cost too much to be destroyed after 1 wash.
