Good evening Family. This is my first time and my last time patronizing this dance store. When I arrived I parked in the shopping center and I was happy and fortunate to get a space. When I arrived at the dance store, I had to wait to be buzzed in. The door was not open. I waited to be buzzed in and as soon as I arrived inside the store, I could tell the vibe was off. The young lady who was working there was not nice, friendly and no she did not smile. She looked like she did not want to be there and she took out her attitude and displeasing demeanor on me. I only stayed here because I am dancing on Sunday, two days away and I needed some new dance shoes for my praise dancing routine on Sunday. Normally when someone is as disinterested and noncommunicative as this young lady I would have left immediately, no questions asked. The young lady asked what I was looking for and I said shoes. She asked what for and I said for praise dancing. Then she asked me what size and then she said for me to take off my shoes and put on the fit on socks that they give you. The entire time she was so unfriendly and I was so uncomfortable that I just wanted to leave but I stayed and tried on the shoes that she handed me. First she handed me the 9, when I asked what size they were, she said 9. I had asked for a 9 1/2. I guess she did not hear the 1/2 part. I gave them back and she handed me the 9 1/2. I tried them on and they were too tight. I asked for the next size, which was a 10 and then she gave them to me and I tried them, they were tight. Then I asked for the next size, which I do not wear, but I wanted to try them and she handed me the 10 1/2. The entire time she was going back and forth handing me the different sizes, she seemed like she was tired of me asking for the next size. When I said that the 10 was too tight, she offered that after a few days that the shoes would loosen up. At this point I did not care what comments she made about the shoes. I was going to make up my own mind what size I would purchase. So then I decided on the 10 1/2. She thought that I was ready and she was ready to ring up the purchase. I had asked how much the shoes were and she said $50.00 and then I asked how much the tax was and she said .88 cents. The entire time she had an attitude every time I asked something. When she was ready to ring me up, I said no I am not finished yet and then I looked around the store to observe what else they had. She asked was there any other item that I was looking for and she could tell me where it was. At this point, I was so disenchanted with her hostile attitude toward me, I declined and said that I just wanted to look around and look around I did in a hurry. Then I went back to the counter and took out my debit card to pay. She then said cash or card and I said card. Then she turned the card counter around for me to pay and then I did and it was a successful purchase of $50.88. Then she had the absolute nerve to ask me my last name and I asked why do you need to know my last name? She then said the company wanted to know the customer's names so that they could keep track of them and that none of my sensitive information would be included. My response to her was I would rather not. After my response I could see that she was not at all thrilled with my reply and that in my opinion is unfortunate. She didn't think at all that her being so hostile and unfriendly to me would back fire on her. When she wanted something from me, I declined to give her what she wanted. Maybe if she had been more pleasant, I might have given her my last name. Then she passed me my purchase and I asked for my receipt. She had placed it in the bag. I took the receipt out of the bag and I left. I believe she might have said have a good day but I cannot be sure because I said nothing back to her and left with a quickness out of Danceline. I will NEVER NEVER NEVER GO BACK THERE AGAIN IN MY LIFE!!!!!! Have a good night, workout, be active and mobile, fit and fabulous especially for people over the age of 50 years.

We’ve never had a bad experience here, and it’s been our dance shop for the past 10 years as my daughter has gone from tiny girl to beautiful adult. Tap shoes, jazz shoes, pointe shoes, tights, outfits - they have it all and are always super friendly and helpful!

Horrible customer service by the owner no less. She has no idea what the difference between practice vs. Performance shoe, smooth vs. Rhythm shoes. She can't even tell the difference between euro vs US sizes. Owner can't even tell the difference between heel lengths and told me ballroom shoes don't come in a 2 inch heels.. Top top it off she didn't want to show me a pair of shoes because they were to expensive for me and then has the nerve to tell me I'm clueless.
