    Unlike the typical “upscale” clientele who usually frequent these stores, a few days ago, my (obviously) very broke, very ordinary teenager spotted a fancy watch on display. We went in and she asked the salesman if she could see it. He brought it down from the display, explained the mechanics of the ballerina watch and went on to go into details of another watch. My daughter was fascinated by it and even though he knew there was no way in the world he would score a sale of that magnitude with her, he took the time to satisfy a teen’s curiosity and made her day. Thank you!

    My husband purchased a necklace for me for Christmas and I wanted to have it extended so one day we were scheduled to be in the area I called and asked about coming in to drop off the necklace to have the work completed. The representative who answered the phone was named Heather and she was very pleasant on the phone telling me that I could come in. So when I get there I walk in and state the reason why I was there, I guess Heather did not approve of my appearance because I was in sweats she informed me that they were booked and I would have to be put on a waitlist and walked away from me. After about 10 minutes someone came to me with an ipad and stated they would put me on the waitlist but during him asking for my name another representative came and said she would help me. She asked my name and whether or not I had a profile which I did because I have multiple pieces. She found me in the system and then continued with the transaction. Not once did she offer me a beverage or if I needed anything else. Not sure if it was my sweats or the color of my skin but I would not recommend this location to anyone. I was going to let her know she could address me as Doctor but determined it was not worth it in the end. At the end of the day everyone should be treated as if they belong and these workers definitely need to do better!

    I've had the most disappointing experience at Van Cleef & Arpel at the King of Prussia mall. I wanted to adjust the sizing of my recently purchased bracelet. I looked on the website for Van Cleef before I visited - it said making appointment is highly encouraged (but not a requirement). I called to make an appointment - after 8 tries, no one picked up the phone at this location so I drove an hour to get it serviced. When I entered, the first thing an associate asked me is whether I had an appointment. I didn't, but I only needed the measurement to be done, which should take no more than 10 minutes. The sales associate proceeded to tell me that they have no more appointment left in the day, and lectured me about needing an appointment and that appointments are standard requirements at all stores. This is not what was said on the website - I proceeded to show her that on Van Cleef's own website, it said appointments are only a suggestion but not a requirement. She shrugged as if my eyes were lying to me and turned me away from the door. I could not believe this is the level of disingenuous service offered by this location. Going forward, I highly suggest making it clear on your website that an appointment is a requirement. For customers living in NJ and PA, you should not visit this location - instead, go to Short Hills location - the associates there are much better trained, personable, and professional.

    Came in to adjust my Alhambra bracelet. Heather was my SA, she was great! Took about a little over a week for the service and shipped back to me next day shipping. 👍🏼
