- DMDennis MJul 6, 20261.0!!! Disappointing Experience !!! We drove 3 hours to King of Prussia Mall specifically to visit the LEGO Store on Sunday, July 5. When we arrived, we found a notice posted on the door saying the store had closed early due to a "heat precaution." What made this even more frustrating was that there was no advance notice on Google, the official LEGO website, or any of the store's social media channels. Had we known the store would be closing early, we would never have made the trip. We were extremely upset and disappointed. While we were there, we saw multiple customers walk up to the store, read the sign, and leave disappointed as well. I understand that it was the Fourth of July weekend and that special circumstances can arise. However, this is also one of the busiest shopping weekends of the year, and customers travel long distances expecting the store to be open during its posted business hours. Closing early without any online notice is unacceptable and shows very little consideration for your customers. One of the main reasons for my visit was to make a purchase and get my LEGO Passport stamped at the Pennsylvania store. Because of the distance, I rarely have the opportunity to visit this location, so this was a wasted trip. I'm also confused by the explanation on the notice. Since this store is located inside King of Prussia Mall, I don't understand how the outdoor heat would require the store to close early "due to a heat precaution." Overall, this experience was incredibly disappointing. I expected much better communication and customer service from LEGO. I hope you will improve how unexpected closures are communicated so that other customers don't waste hours of travel like we did.

You can visit our store to see if your missing piece is available to buy from Pick-A-Brick wall. Or, request a free replacement piece to be shipped straight to your door by visiting LEGO.com and navigating to 'Help' and then 'Replacement Parts'.

All of our LEGO Stores are free to enter.

Can I return a LEGO set I ordered online to a LEGO Store?
If the total value of the unopened set is under $200, you can return your unopened LEGO set to any of our LEGO Brand Retail stores with your original shipping confirmation email or receipt dated within 90 days, and we'll give you a full refund in form of store credit or a gift card. If your unopened set is over $200, simply return your unopened LEGO set to the address listed on your packing slip.
