  Visited Bass Pro Shop today. Was looking for sneakers for waders. Asked a girl to see my shoe size, she said she didn't work in the shoe department. She went in the back and came back telling me someone would be right with me. I waited 10 minutes for someone to show up...which they didn't. I put the sneaker back on the display wall and walked out....as I was walking out i noticed several employees hanging around the checkout counter. I will NOT BE BACK.

  Holy cow!!!! This place was huge! So cool to stop in if you're passing through, just make sure you have at least an hour to spare.

  Go in just to have fun with the family and you get harassed right away hi sign up with bass pro shop credit card tell them no and they go after again then you take the elevator down to see fish in water and you get slammed again high want a magic dream getaway just let me waste 30 mins of your time like what's wrong with bass pro shop I just wanted to see the fish and animals with the family not be harassed the whole time this all happened July 4th 2026 Harrisburg

  My husband and I stopped into Bass Pro on 6/26 to pick up a new scope for my .243. I left feeling pretty confident…until I got home and realized it didn’t work with my current rail system… My bad. We went back on 7/3, and Mike from maintenance (who just happened to be covering the gun counter) saved the day! First off, he reminded us so much of my brother-in-law that it was a little unsettling. Then he spent over an hour trying different setups until he found one that worked. He bore-sighted the scope, helped us pick out a cleaning kit, corrected my shooting stance, and answered every question we threw at him. He was so knowledgeable and seemed to enjoy talking about this stuff… could probably start a YouTube channel about firearms and hunting… we’d subscribe! Top notch customer service. We walked out wishing there was a tip jar or some other way to recognize him, but this review will have to do. Mike from maintenance, we’d say ‘look us up if you ever need hunting buddies,’ but that would require you knowing literally anything about us besides our poor scope-buying decisions… P.S. Also, thanks to the guy at the front door working the gun check-in. We didn’t catch your name, but we noticed your friendliness too. Thanks for making us feel welcome!

  I went to the store to ask for an unpowered boat registration. They insisted that a launch permit is the same thing and gave me what I wanted. Unfortunately, I found out later that I did actually need the boat registration as the canoes go to Maryland as well. We are a children's nonprofit, this mistake will cost us significant portion of our budget.
