- RRRobert Myers (Rob)Apr 6, 20211.0So about a month ago I bought a pair of Oakley Holbrook Mix sunglasses. On these frames there are two metal pins on the top corners of each lens. One has fallen out. Oh yeah they are not cheap and I had to pay extra for an Oakley hard case as Oakley doesn't include one but that is another story. I did purchase the extra warranty coverage but thought this should be covered under a manufacturer defect. Well I went into the store this evening to talk to the manager. She said it appears there are small scratches on the lens so she assumes they were dropped and that they would only be covered by the extra coverage which if you don't know costs money as well. I am not sure what she is seeing but they look like the day I bought them minus the missing pin. These are first and will be the last pair of Oakley's I ever buy. It will also be the last time I purchase from Sunglass Hut. So you they won the short game but not the long one. Don't buy the Oakley Holbrook Mix.
