- MMMac MacDonald3 days ago2.0VERY understaffed.. waited over 30 mins in fishing dept, got ZERO assitance. There were only 4 ppl in entire store for staff. 2 in guns n ammo. 1 on register (Tim ?- who was Excellent ) and a floater. Items NOT tagged /priced well enough. I had to look up the specs on several possible reels to purchase as, even the pkg didnt have "max line test # / weight" .. spent 30 mins looking up stuff on google... woulda been better off shopping online. No joke. Absolutely PATHETIC.. I have NO clue what happened to SW.. they used to be my go to source out west for 10 yrs. They ALWAYS had Amazing and knowlwdgable staff. Now theres NO staff. Not sure if Bass Pro or Cabelas will be better, got 1 of em another 30 mins away. Will find taht out next week. Tim (?) At register was GREAT .. that was Tues 7/07/ 26 evening. Kudos to him. BIG Gibbs slap to Mgmt / C- level. I WONT be going back. Nor recommend SW..

- JWJustine Williams6 days ago1.0Too much clothing (hunting & otherwise), which is all grossly overpriced. Yeti mugs & coolers, and kayaks. Minimal equipment outdoor hunters & fishermen actually use. Unfortunately they've gone the way of not really being a true outdoorsmen's store anymore. Same disappointment as Cabela's--unfortunately this is why everyone has gone to shopping on line. Better prices and items that true outdoorsmen actually use.
