- CJCooper JusticeJun 20, 20261.0I understand that I made the mistake of driving under the influence, however I don’t necessarily like the fact that it feels like I’m being punished with every person that I work with. I was told the installation of my smart start device would take between 1 and 2 hours, it instead took nearly 5 hours. I had an appointment that was at 10 AM and was told I would charged extra if I showed up late. I showed up early to avoid that. I am almost certain that I saw the mechanic walking out with my smart start device to install it at around 12:30. That’s a little funny to me since I can get charged extra for being late but they supposedly don’t have to honor an appointment time. Also didn’t appreciate being talked to as though I am an alcoholic as I most certainly am not, I just made a mistake. They also forgot to return my ID and piece of mail back to me. All around an extremely frustrating experience made even worse by the fact that they kept telling me “we’re on your side and want to make this easier for you.” Don’t drink and drive, but if you do I would not recommend this company.

How does an Interlock Device work?
When you blow into your Ignition Interlock Device, you're providing a breath test sample in order to start the vehicle. The device then measures your Breath Alcohol Concentration (BrAC), and will either say that you passed, need to retest, or failed. You will be asked to take rolling retests throughout your drive.
